I help people unlock their creative potential, discover their subjects, enhance their artistic abilities, and break through creative blocks and impasses.

This newsletter is about the development of creative thinking and related topics.

The approach that I lay at the foundation of all my training programs and my personal development in creativity is, first and foremost, to try to formulate the subject of study. That is, to learn something more effectively, one needs to formulate "what is it?". By answering this question, it becomes easier to understand which skills to dedicate time to and which not to.

As a teacher, I believe that the biggest leap in any activity people make is when they try to formulate "what is this activity?", "how do I understand it?". One could say in Stanislavski's language: "what is the core of this activity?", what is the essence?

It is precisely the formulation of "what I am doing" that helps to not lose the direction of development, to understand which skills are lacking, and what is generally worth doing within this activity, and what is irrelevant to it. For example, in the field of photography, there is a lot of different information. And, it seems to me, a lot that has no relation to photography at all, but I can only filter the necessary from the unnecessary by formulating "what is photography".

Therefore, I want to focus primarily on attempts to formulate what is: creativity, art, mastery, talent, and so on. I hope that you will join these attempts through comments or personal messages.

FORMAT — SNOWBALL EFFECT

I will share both my own and others' thoughts on topics related to creative thinking, initially in the form of short thoughts (here it's called notes), and I will be very happy to receive your comments. Periodically, I will collect the accumulated thoughts and your comments into summarizing texts (post), where I will also welcome your opinions, which may influence the next reformulation, and so on, like a snowball effect.

Let's see what comes of it!
